The Prophet (peace be upon him) said:
“When a person dies, all their deeds end except three: a continuing charity, beneficial knowledge, and a child who prays for them,”
(Hadith, Muslim)
Alhamdilillah, giving your donations to Sunday School will fulfill all three criterias. Children will gain knowledge and pray for you. This becomes a Sadaqa Jaria which is a very important concept in Islam.
Charity protects you from Calamity, it protects you from being miserly and it is A Good Deed that never ENDS.
Sunday School can also accept Zakat. You can also donate through your
company. Some companies match 2x your donation.
